.....the closure of Bauhinia School (although the building will continue to be used as a temporary campus for the Discovery Bay Private Independent School). In its short life the school and its staff gained a reputation for innovation, enthusiasm and public-spiritedness. The school was determined to be a real pillar of the local community. It achieved this is in many ways, from regular musical performances at the nearby retirement home to beautifying the local MTR station with students' art. We would like to congratulate and thank Katie Jones, the School Council and all teaching and non-teaching staff.....
