IB vs American curriculum

My Husband and I wish our child to be raised and educated in Christian value, so we decide to apply ICS. On the other hand, ICS is American curriculum, is that mean the students should have their further study in American University Do the Uni in HK, UK, Australia admit American curriculum? Or shall we consider other IB school?
