Transportation Arrangement for School Afternoon Activities

Hello,

For those parents who have kids attending school afternoon activities but the school does not provide bus service, what arrangement do or can you make (besides having the helper to go pick them up)

I might run into this situation when my little girl attend primary school next year. I would like for her to participate in school's afternoon activities but I know some of the schools (especially ESF schools) require parents to make their own pickup arrangements (there are no bus services for afternoon activities). I am a working mother and my helper cannot leave the house for an extended period of time since there are others to take care of in the house.
