Characteristics of IS kids

I'm struggling for IS and LS stream. Can anyone share with me what is the ve and -ve impact on your kid for choosing IS I have no question on English language skill. My key concern is more about discipline, Chinese core value and personality. If you don't mind, pls share your experience and the age of you kid. Thx.
