Any parent switch their kids from local primary to IS primary after P1/2

Please share your experience. I am worrying that if I do that, my kid's English is still not up to the standard of an IS. May be I have to hire a NET tutor for my kids, so as to improve his English before he go to an interview. I guess this tutoring have to last for at least 1 year....what do you think?
