lunch/the use of textbooks/school life @ Anfield primary sch

My kid got a place for coming y1 and I received a pile of parents notices including sch bus info, fees , uniform info etc few days ago. Do any parents know some information about lunch for students Also, do we need to buy the textbooks as I didn't receive a book list for the coming year. Can anyone share with me the school life @ Anfield ?
